About Gabe: Serving over two decades in the Army, Major (Ret) Gabe Wander is a combat veteran many times over. He was born Jewish, raised as a Christian missionary, and lived in over thirty countries with his parents and seven siblings by the time he was twelve years old. He enlisted in the Army at seventeen as a Combat Medic and spent time in the 25th Infantry Division, where he was quickly promoted to Sergeant, and eventually earned the coveted position of an Officer and Nurse Anesthesiologist with the elite Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) in the only Tier 1 unit that provides direct medical support to JSOC special mission units.
